Wearing Thin

MIL has an interesting family history that involves a family tree made of people she doesn't talk to for one reason or another. She's trying to keep in touch with her estranged daughter, my SIL, and it's tough. MIL thinks it's her ex-MIL meddling and trying to keep her influence over SIL. My message to my MIL's ex-MIL is simple: You won 16 years ago. There is no need to be cruel. Stop it.
